Sancuso® Transforms CINV Treatment
Reality testing: ProStrakan, part of the Kyowa Hakko Kirin Group, is a patient-centric pharmaceutical company dedicated to changing patients’ lives by providing essential, life-altering medications. ProStrakan wanted to raise awareness of their innovative product, Sancuso (Granisetron Transdermal System), which effectively prevents chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) for up to 5 days with just 1 transdermal patch.
Envisioning a new reality: REALITYRx worked with the brand team to communicate the unique benefits of Sancuso as an alternative to other treatments for appropriate patient types. Working closely Dr. Allyson Ocean, a highly respected NYC oncologist, REALITYRx created an HCP-authored video that clearly and concisely conveyed the need to overcome CINV with Sancuso. In another video a nurse oncologist who is also a breast cancer survivor provided heartfelt testimony about Sancuso and advocated for proactively providing the product to appropriate patients.
Inventing the reality: Engaging videos were developed and are now housed on a newly designed, easy to navigate Sancuso app that enables sales representatives to share these respected medical professionals’ perspectives. By leveraging the healthcare community’s preference for Sancuso for specific patient types, REALITYRx successfully communicated the impact and important insights that are pivotal to patients continuing their chemotherapy regimen and getting on with their daily lives.
