Hoon Chang, Director of Business Development and Account Services, loves being part of the solution, especially when it’s achieved with a team. Bouncing ideas around, building off one another, and coming up with great ideas, then looking back and seeing how having the right team makes things exponentially better—that’s what inspires him every day.

Having worked in NYC for the past 20 years in larger healthcare agencies, such as Harrison and Star, Euro RSCG Life Chelsea, and Robert A. Becker Euro RSCG and most recently Greater Than One, he has been focused in oncology, rare disease, and launching multiple brands and bringing new and exciting indications to market. Hoon says REALITYRx offers him a chance to build something, where he can be a part of a focused, nimble, agile and talented team that’s uniquely positioned to adapt to the lightning-fast and evolving healthcare market. Along with his knowledge and experience, his ability to plan and operationalize will help REALITYRx continue creating great work while over-delivering and exceeding client expectations.

While Hoon has lived on the East Coast for 30 years, he still calls himself a Midwesterner having grown up in Ohio. Today, Hoon calls Morris County his adopted home turf, along with his wife, kids and their grumpy 14-year old Morkie, Tater.

When Hoon can get away from his honey-do list and kids’ activities, he likes to sneak off to the golf course, hoping, one day, he’ll be playing a foursome every weekend with his sons.

Asked what one person inspired him throughout his whole life, Hoon said: “My father is a retired physician, and I grew up thinking that he would want me to also be a physician. When I told him I was going to take the MCAT he said to me, ‘You don’t have to be a physician. I don’t care what you do as long as you’re the best at what you do.’ That really meant a lot to me—it allowed me to follow my own path, but also set my mind to work as hard as I could to be the best that I could be.”
